Hello, lm a new member having trouble with sizing for safety gear.

Next week l will doing a 2 day woodturning course (yay) it’s something l’ve wanted to do since in my 20’s. I did turn up at a woodturning class when l was 28 but it was all men in their 60s and 70s and they laughed and ridiculed me, not only was l a woman but l am a petite 4ft 11 inches and they told me l wouldn’t be able to join as l was too small. (Maybe not the truth)

Today is a diffeent world and l know that many women do woodturning too so altough I am now in my 50s l plan to buy a lathe soon and take up woodturning. My problem is finding safety gear to fit me. The usual DIY face masks, gloves, and goggles etc are far too big for me.

Does anyone know where l could get extra small safety gear or visors etc, l think lve seen children wearing them, maybe this woukd be ideal?

Thank you for your help and l hope to meet many of you at the show in May.
