  My personal requests, as I think these people are great and have inspired me a great deal.
  
  Frank Howarth (from Frank Makes)
  Such a top bloke, making amazing things in the most well equipped shop ever.
  
  Mattias Wandel (Wood Gears)
  The venerable “Wood Elf” (according to AvE). If he hasn’t got the power tool for the job, he’ll make it.
  
  Martin Wintergatan (Marble Machine MMX)
  Mostly because he cites the above makers a great deal, and his persistence with the MMX is something I can definitely relate to
  
  AvE
  Because he’s the best channel on YouTube (say no to corporate shills kids)
  
  Clickspring
  Engineering, machining and artistry at its very best.
  
  Kyle Toth
  Between him, Malcom Tibbets and Frank Howarth, you’ve got segmented turning pretty much covered.
  
  Michael Cthulu
  Because what not to like about a friendly bearded Irish bloke making fecking huge swords?
  
  Of course, Lord Diresta is already in attendance, so won’t add to that list.

  Hi Tim, I would like to see Matt Denton there, he was there with Mantis last year and he has made the new Star Wars robot D-O, which would be great to see.
  
  I would love to have a stand too, although I don’t think I’m quite there yet, converting an Axminster Sieg X1 to CNC using brushless DC Motors and converting an MGF to multi-motor (x 24) BEV.
  
  Also, I’d like to see ODrive there (ODrive Robotics) as they are doing some great products for robotic control. Plus they are very supportive to all users.
  
  I loved the HowTo event last year and met Colin Furze, James Bruton, Tom Stanton and Ivan Miranda too.
  
  If they can get him, how about Destin from Smarter Every Day?
  
  I have already booked my tickets and car parking.

  As a completely blue-sky, my first suggestion would be Adam Savage – not just because he’s the bloke of the telly, but mainly for the wide variety of skills he uses in everything he makes. I’m guessing, though, that he’d need to be booked years in advance.
  
  My second suggestion would be Nick Offerman – again, not just because he’s a bloke off the telly, but because he seems like he’s a totally down-to-earth person who does some pretty amazing things with wood. His book, Good Clean Fun, is a source of inspiration for me; not because I do woodworking (I don’t), but because of the beauty and passion that’s evident in the things that he makes.
  
  I’d also love to see the YouTube contingents of Colin Furze, James Bruton and Tom Stanton. Ivan Miranda too, if only so that I can inveigle my way in to stealing his huge 3D printer 😉
  
  As for other YouTubers, what about This Old Tony, 3D Printing Nerd, Tom Sanladerer, Punished Props Academy, Alec Steele (if he’s allowed back in the country after his defection to the US), the Hacksmith team… I’d suggest more, but then it’d just be a list of my YT subs!
