Makers Central 2020 / 2021?

HowTo

HowTo

After such a great event earlier this year, we’re still receiving emails daily on whether there’s going to be another Makers Central show.

This years show saw around 9000 people in attendance which is a significant increase compared to our very first show and we think it’s safe to say it was a success.

We have now decided that there WILL be another Makers Central show, however the question we have to ask ourselves now is, when?

We are currently in talks with multiple venues about possible shows in 2020 or 2021.

As many of you know, the show is run by a small team and alongside other commitments, it can be very difficult to plan a show of this size.

We’ll be making a decision over the next coming months on whether we’ll see another show next year or the year after.

Once we have decided, we’ll be announcing it to our members first. You can find out more about becoming a member here.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended our previous shows which supports such a great community!

We look forward to giving you updates over the next couple of months!

  • It would be fantastic. When would/could we expect a date. Some of us from across the pond will need time to make arrangements and start saving the funds to get there.
    Any info is most welcomed

  • Would absolutely love to attend the next Makers Central, this year was a blast and I was a little bit ‘rabbit trapped in the headlights’ so many brilliant makers and minds in one place….fantastic! Strike whilst the irons hot guys…The UK really needs this, so many schools have ramped down the teaching of hands on skills that events like this are crucial if we are to get another generation of young makers ‘fired up’. Kudos to the team at MC for a fabulous job so far. ??

  • I would love to go next year as i have been unable so far. I think the end of july as it’s school hols and that would allow more families to come along.

  • Why not do both? I’m sure there are plenty of people of the thousands interested that would be willing to offer support!

  • A nice central location would be good like this years event. But then again I would say that as live about half an hour away.

Looking forward to the next one.
