“you don’t know, what you don’t know”
Hi Everybody *waves*,
Let me introduce myself… My name is Alex and I have been a leather worker for a good few years now.
I previously worked for Tandy Leather in the UK as their Senior Sales Advisor and Social Media Manager – You may have seen me Demonstrating at HowTo 2018- As Tandy are no more in the UK hopefully i can share some knowledge and answer the silly questions on here.
So let’s start with the basics…
Leather is very easy to work with, and the basic tools needed to start having a go are relatively inexpensive, but like most hobbies the deep you go the more costly it can become.
{I have some video on YouTube to help with basic tool questions and there are build along video with FREE printable patterns too.}
If you have an idea of what you would like to make but aren’t sure how to start look at what the basic techniques are learn them and build up to your final piece.

I love sharing, teaching and seeing other people succeed from what they have learnt. I learn from teaching, when somebody asks me a question that i don’t know the answer too i will go away and find the answer.
