  I’m after a good entry level set of chisels – something that’s going to last a while would be ideal. Anyone got any recommendations? Thanks!

  I’ve been using the Irwin Marples M444 blue chip.
  You can get a 4 piece set from Amazon for £30.
  
  As per most tools they need sharpening when you first get them to get the full potential out of them. But I’ve found they hold an edge well for my hobbyist level of use.
